Yesterday was my Birthday. I turned 23. I celebrated with two white water sessions on Lee Valley and indulged in the muscular burn as a result of the physicality of training on this course. There was no place I would rather be. Paddling here puts things into perspective as I am starting my training for the 2012 season on this course and will be finishing the season on this course - at the Olympic Games. Motivating stuff.

So all in all, it was a good day, I had a primo dinner with some good friends at a local restaurant.
