Not sure if you can tell, but Brunei is a wealthy Country |
School Boat. Kids returning from school. |
The majority of people live in the water villages which consist of everything you would find on land – two primary schools, an elementary school, petrol stations, police stations, wifi, the list goes on. Hundreds of boats boost around as a key mode of transport, the school boat was even spotted dropping kids off to the water village school.
On the tour I met some new friends and ventured back into town with them to do some more expoloring. We went to see the monkeys and more of the wildlife, visited the mosque, the markets and museums before boosting back to the airport. All in all, it was a primo day in Brunei.
This was right next door to the very top photo. Contrast? Yep. |

Arriving in London, I got incredibly lost on the M1, M4, M11 and whatever other motorways were thrown at me. After a considerable amount of wasted lifetime, I finally arrived in Enfield where i am staying and then went to pick up Mike from Stansted. Training starts today and I am looking forward to picking up my new boat before this afternoon's session.
